Lynn E. Geiger, PhD, MA

Dr. Geiger is a licensed Clinical Psychologist currently in private practice in Hilton Head, S.C. providing child, adolescent and adult psychological evaluations and psychotherapy for a broad range of clinical disorders while specializing in child and couples therapy. Previously she maintained a private practice in Syracuse, New York while serving as a consultant for the State of New York in forensic issues in conjunction with sexual abuse. In addition, Dr. Geiger has served as a consultant to multidisciplinary team, school and social service agencies.

Dr. Geiger serves as a Center advisor on psychological issues and the quality-of-life changes associated with health care alterations. Her assessments and evaluations of value changes related to a diverse spectrum of health disorders including mental health disabilities are strong additions to the Center’s professional services.

Dr. Geiger earned a Ph.D in Clinical Psychology at Syracuse University following graduation with a M.S. in Clinical Psychology. Previously, she earned a M.A. in Counseling and Guidance from Colgate University after graduating cum laude with a B.A.

She has been named in “Who’s Who in American Professional Women” and is active in her professional organizations. She is a member of the American Psychological Association, South Carolina State Psychological Association and has served as Chair of the Ethics Committee, Central New York Psychological Association.
